DRONTAL Dog Flavor Tablet

Drontal Plus Flavor has the same power, the same effectiveness as Drontal Plus, but now with an appetizing meat flavor. Like all Drontal tablets, it works with a single dose, and can be given with or without food. In fact, it still gives you all the advantages of Drontal Plus. But for dogs, the new meat flavor makes it less like a treatment, and more like a treat.

Unfortunately, there is no tablet or injection you can give a dog which will prevent worm infection. The best you can do is to kill any worms which may be present, on a regular basis. To avoid worms reaching maturity and affecting your pet’s health, and to reduce public health risks, you should worm your pet regularly.

Worming every three months will reduce this risk but ask your vet who will be able to evaluate your pet’s health and your family’s requirements and advise you on a specific worming routine for your pet.

For the control of the following gastrointestinal tapeworms and roundworms of dogs and puppies.

ASCARIDS:

Toxocarid Canis, To ascaris leonine (adult and late immature forms).

HOOKWORMS:

Uncinariasis epencephala, Ancylostomiases caninum (adults).

WHIPWORMS:

Trichuris Vulpis (adults).

TAPEWORMS:

Echinococcus species, Taenia species, Dipylidium caninum (adults and immature forms).

DOSAGE GUIDE: PUPPIES AND SMALL DOGS

½–2 kg bodyweight = ¼ Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet
2–5 kg bodyweight = ½ Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet
6–10 kg bodyweight = 1 Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet

DOSAGE GUIDE: MEDIUM DOGS

11–15 kg bodyweight = 1½ Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet
16–20 kg bodyweight = 2 Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet
21–25 kg bodyweight = 2½ Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet
26–30 kg bodyweight = 3 Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet

Drontal Plus Flavor Tablet is a pale-yellow flavored tablet containing 50 mg praziquantel, 144 mg pyrantel umbonate and 150 mg febantel.
